Ferrari 458 ItaliaHi guys! It’s the Machine Maestro here with the story of Enzo Ferrari and his car company. I’m going to give you some facts, but also I want to say that I think Ferrari is a little overrated. Have you ever heard of the companies Maserati, Porche, Pagani, and Lotus? These are some of the less well known car companies. What do you think of when you hear super car or sports car? Well, most people think Ferrari. So that’s why I think Ferrari is a little overrated.  Some of those companies are just as good as Ferrari. So wasn’t I hear to tell you about Ferrari instead of just giving my opinion about their reputation?

So here we go, Enzo Ferrari grew up in Italy. His dad was a mechanic, so naturally he was around machinery a lot. One day, his dad decided to bring him and his brother to a small race. Instantly Enzo loved it. As he grew up, he watched more and more races and found out many techniques for the track. As soon as he was old enough he found a job for Alfo Romao as a racer. For ten years straight he raced for them and he was extremely good at it. In fact, he was so good at it that he decided to make his own company for manufacturing and racing.

Ferrari, as you know, is a huge company. It sells cars that are top notch. They have so many models that I can’t name them all. Some of my favorites are the 458 Italia, the Enzo, and the California. Ferrari has risen above the competition and has dominated the car world. All I can say is that Ferrari should keep going.

I hope you have enjoyed this report on one of the world’s biggest sports car companies. See you soon!

The History of Lamborghini

2015-lamborghini-huracan-front-three-quartersHi guys! It’s the Machine Maestro here with the history of Lamborghini.

Lamborghini started out as a tractor company, founded by Furrocio Lamborghini, and grew really fast. As soon as other people started realizing that there was a good market for tractors, the competition increased. Furrocio decided to start making super cars. His friends laughed at him and said, “Wow! Tractors to super cars – not possible!” Well, look at him now.

In late 1962 and early 1963, Ferruccio hired some of the best engineers and designers he knew and started making cars. His first model was the GTV 350. The car had a v12! It was a huge engine. When the car came to the auto show, it was a fantastic piece of machinery. The next car built was the GT 400. It sold about 273 cars.

Soon a concept car came about that they featured in another auto show – the Muria. This car was not expected to sell much but soon caught the attention of Nuccion Berone, an engineer and chassis designer. He began working for Lamborghini.

Lamborghini came out with more and more cars and became bigger and bigger, but I don’t think I have the time to talk about all of them. A few of the more well-known cars are the Islero, Jalapa, Jarma, and the Countach.

Later, they came out with the Diablo and the im002. The im002 was a truck designed for military purposes. Only kings and actors bought it. At this time, the Diablo was the car they were focusing on. They kind of left the im002 in the dust. The Diablo was their Bugatti of the year. They made three known versions and sold lots of Diablos.

Soon after, they brought out the Murcielago. This piece of Lamborghini history brought us a fast car that was quite a luxury king. But even Lamborghini was not satisfied.

Soon they had yet more cars – the GALLORDO, AVENTADOR, REVENTON and more concept cars. The most recent car was the HURICAN. This car is a mix between the Gallardo and the Aventador in my opinion. The car is extremely fast and ferocious. But the only downfall is the safety features. The car on a track with the so-called “all features off button” does not turn off the safety features. So on a track, the car either really under-steers or really over-steers. But I am happy they have come out with the HURICAN.

My opinion is that Lamborghini has been a great car company and will be one of my favorite car companies forever.

So I guess that’s it for now.  See you guys soon!

Chevrolet Camaro Black Concept. X08SV_CH005Hi! It’s the Machine Maestro here with another amazing vehicle – “The Camaro”. This piece of automotive history began production in 1966-1967. Produced from Chevrolet under GM motors, the vehicle has undergone five stunning stages. The car first entered the market in 1966 to compete against the Mustang! It entered the second stage in 1970. The chassis was basically the same, but the body underwent cosmetic changes. In 1982 Chevy brought out a muscle car for drag racing and street cruising. Then, yet again in 1993, they gave us the  fourth generation Camaro to enjoy and love.

Sadly, in 2002 the Camaro was discontinued. In 2009, however, Camaro fans begged, and Chevrolet came out with my personal favorite – the Camero SS fifth generation. These cars usually top in at about 323 to 580 horsepower. I hope you enjoyed learning a little about this fantastic car – “The Camaro”. See you soon! 😀

Hey guys, Machine Maestro here with what is probably America’s most loved muscle car – the Mustang! Mustangs began production on April 7, 1964 and are still being made today! In 1964 the car almost tripled the number of sales Ford thought it would make. Since then, the car has undergone many upgrades and is in its sixth stage of production. I think the Mustang is a fantastic car now and back in 1964.
