Together with an experienced mentor and a small troupe of young fellow-inventors, boys will develop fundamental skills in electronics, basic machines, and programming. As the boys use soldering and specialized tools to each make their own Arduino microcontroller, they will learn to program it to control lights, motors, servos, relays, and other electrical/mechanical components. Other skills developed will include logical reasoning, problem-solving, and component recognition and terminology.
Young Inventors Workshop participants are invited with other Creekside class members to approximately two Friday adventures per month where we will take our learning to different places on hikes, field trips, and in workshops. Additional cost on some.
