The M240 machine gun has been firing for the US Armed Forces since 1970. It was mainly manned by infantry units, but is mounted on vehicles too. The M240 uses mostly disintegrating belts which means after the bullet has been shot, the belt disintegrates. It has 26,000 MRBF (Mean Rounds Before Failure), which is quite high for its weight. The M240 has a weight of about 25 lbs.! The M240 fires 7.62 mm bullets. Clearly this machine gun is very cool and very deadly!
